The Community School Program is a collaboration between Burroughs Elementary School and the Brighton Park Neighborhood Council (BPNC).  The community school program was created to bring to the Brighton Park Community a learning center where many needed social services and enrichment programs are provided throughout the year.  Our goal is to provide a positive, peaceful, and welcoming environment where families will further enhance their skills and knowledge for their own benefit, and also to build a stronger united community.

Our Mission

  • Build pride in the community.
  • Build leaders from within the community.
  • Offer education opportunities for community members.
  • Build a community where there is respect, tolerance, and communication.
  • A commitment to work for social justice.
  •
