The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program is currently open to persons over 60 years of age or persons with a disability (collecting SSA). To apply please bring the following items:

Light and gas bill
Proof of income for the past 30 days
Social security cards for all household members
Medical Card(s) for all family members that have one
If the light and gas are included in your rent, you must bring a copy of your lease

*All documents must be originals. No copies of documents will be excepted.

Those who do not qualify under the above requirements (over 60 or people with a disability) will be allowed to apply beginning November 1st. The assistance will be provided Monday thru Friday at the BPNC office located at 4477 S. Archer Ave at the following times:

Monday-Friday: 10:00AM-2:00PM
Mondays: 6:00PM-8:00PM
